Description

The Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre requires a Food Processing Formulator.  Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the formulator is responsible for weighing, measuring and blending of ingredients for the production of various food products.

Responsibilities include:
- Extremely quality conscious
- Good math and reading skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg
- Work in varied temperature environments
- Must have good attendance and punctuality
- Some mechanical knowledge
- Maintain a safe work environment

Skills required:
- Read and accurately follow written procedures and formulas as outlined
- Maintain production records, including weights, volumes and lot codes
- Inspect all equipment before and during use
- Work as part of a team to improve output yield and quality
- Maintain a clean work area
- Ability to work with all types of food products

This position is day shift, Monday to Friday, located at 52 Innovation Boulevard.  Deadline for applications is April 7, 2019.  No telephone calls or drop ins.
