Description

FCL invites applications for the position of Plantperson (2 positions) (Temporary) in the Distribution department at Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Petroleum Loading Section Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:

Understands safety aspects of the PDD tank car loading area, and the expectations and requirements for all duties performed.
Perform all duties associated with the loading of petroleum products including but not limited to gasoline/diesel, propane, butane, fuels, molten sulphur, asphalt, slurry, and other related commodities.
Reports to the Petroleum Loading Supervisor on a daily basis once initial workload is complete for alternate duties.
Assists in the Maintenance Technician area as required pending railcar loading requirements.
Performs assistance to the Tank Car Loader Helper and/or Tank Car Loader as required.
Works in relief of the Tank Car Loader or Helper as required.
Writes up work orders as required and provides them to the Petroleum Supervisor for processing.
Performs loading of molten sulphur trucks during turnaround as relief for Section III personnel.
Performs housekeeping duties as required.
Ensures loading activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner relative to Dangerous Goods Regulations, safety rules, and applicable loading procedures.  Understands basic railcar shipping knowledge to ensure all documentation is valid for the railcar(s) loaded.
Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will Candidates must follow the CCRL Work-Safe Approach. Completion of Grade XII, a good mechanical aptitude, an understanding of tank car loading operations, and the physical ability to carry out the duties is required. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license and must be prepared to participate in training programs as required.
