Required Qualifications

Continuing Care Assistant certificate
Experience
Previous: Six (6) months previous experience working in a health care environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills, where required by the job
Valid drivers license, where required by the job
Organizational skills
Communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to work with special needs clients/patients/residents

Should the Employer be unable to recruit a qualified applicant, other applicants who would be willing to obtain the required qualifications within 2 years, at their own expense, may be considered.  No guaranteed hours.  Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
