A busy and well-established Gas/Convenient store is expanding its business. We are looking to hire an Assistant Store Manager to support this initiative, with the following duties:
Develops and executes demand forecast and planning
Studies competitive strengths and weaknesses and define strategies to compete and do better than competitors in sales and customer services
Works with the chain to develop marketing strategies and tactics to gain clientele and expand business
Monitors and reviews weekly and monthly sales and define corrective strategies when sale target is off projection
Helps to manage the operation by tracking sales, inventory and re-order stocks when required.
Trains staff and reinforce performance
Takes shifts and be hand-on with store day to day duties and operation.
Qualification:
Must have at least 7 years experience with demand planning. Especially past experience with oil/gas and convenient store operation.
Must have experience in chain development. Inventory management is surely an asset
Must have experience in process improvement or re-engineering
Must have Bachelor degree, major in Business Administration, Trade or Economics. Certificate in inventory is an asset.
* if foreign worker, must have IELTS general 6.0 or higher.
We will pay competitively base on the experience, but minimum is $20.00/hour.
