The Town of Alameda invites applications for one full-time position of Town Assistant Foreman/Foreman. The successful applicant will be training to be the assistant foreman for the town with the intent to be the Foreman through succession planning. The position involves all aspects of the town's maintenance including water, sewer and transportation. Qualifications: criminal record clearance, Grade 12 or GED, valid Class 5 driver's license, self-motivated, ability to work in a team environment, including public works staff, office staff, mayor and council. Preference will be given to applicants with Water and Wastewater Certification (or willing to get certified); experience operating equipment; and management experience and ability. Health, dental, vision and pension are provided with premiums shares. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
