Description

Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Logistics Planner at their Saskatoon, SK location. The successful applicant will join our Central Dispatch team.
The schedule for this position is 6:00am  6:00pm (4 days on, 5 off, 5 days on, 4 off, 5 days on, 5 off)

Responsibilities
Plan highway tractors for truckload and linehaul operations
Coordinate and monitor city deliveries with dispatcher
Monitor and position equipment
Communicate with drivers and branches on a regular basis
Review dispatch, loads and shipments to ensure information is accurate and shipments in transit are on
schedule
Assign and dispatch loads

Qualifications
3-5 years relative experience in the transportation industry
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Central Dispatch environment is an asset
Strong computer skills
Experience in dispatch programs such as TMW AS400, Centerline or Maddocks is considered an asset
