Description

As Bilingual Facilitator, you will  develop educational programming in both English and French, and lead guided  tours of a national heritage centre located in Regina, Sask.    

Your passion for teaching adults  and children alike will be matched by your motivated, creative and  results-oriented personality!  

Your  responsibilities will include:  
1.0  Program  Planning
---  Plan and recommend the  annual programming plans for the facility.  Evaluate current programs, write  and improve the education programs (in both English and French) to create an  enjoyable, educational experience for adults and children visiting from within  Canada and out of country.
--- Ensure all programming is of the highest  quality and meets the organization's mission and strategic goals.  
---   Translate documents from English to French as required.    
2.0  Presentations  and Tours
---  Provide a quality  experience for visitors throughout the year.
---  Lead  and guide on-site tours; provide community education programming for varied  audiences including school field trips, seniors, tour groups and visitors from  within Canada and out of country.  
---  Share  historical facts and perspectives with visitors to enlighten and instill a sense  of appreciation and pride in Canada's history.
---  Plan  and organize special events and educational programs, creative initiatives,  contests, etc.
---  Work with team members and  volunteers to fulfill sponsorship requests.  
---   Represent the organization in a respectful and professional manner at all  times.  
3.0  Student and  Volunteer Coordination
---  Supervise  and train seasonal staff and volunteers.  

EDUCATION:
---   Bilingual in French and English is required (reading, writing and speaking).  
---  Post secondary education in education, history,  museum studies or similar is desirable.
