The R.M. of Laurier #38 is looking for a qualified individual to assist the weed inspector in scouting and spraying for leafy spurge and other noxious weeds.
The suitable applicant must provide an all terrain vehicle that will travel over rough terrain. The applicant must be physically fit, able to ride an all terrain vehical over rough terrain, able to lift up to 22 kilograms (50 pounds) and be willing to work 10 hours a day. Knowledge of weeds and chemical application or an agriculture background is beneficial. This position is seasonal beginning in early to mid June and running through to the end of July as weather permits. Students welcome to apply. Deadline for applications is May 8, 2019.
