Description

Cypress Paving Ltd is a heavy construction company providing Saskatchewan with aggregate services since 1976. We are currently accepting applications for experienced Asphalt Crew Personnel (Finish Roller Operator, Screed Operator, and Paving Labourer) to complement our operations crew. We are seeking individuals who are reliable & dependable in all aspects of their day to day routine. These individuals must have an experienced background within the Asphalt industry and promoting a positive & safe work environment while working with team members & management in a fast paced work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
General knowledge of Paving equipment is a requirement for all 3 positions
Set up of equipment as needed, inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance or minor repairs
Duties and Responsibilities will vary upon position hired for

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the road construction/ Asphalt industry    Valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation
Valid Class 5 or Class 1A license would be an asset
Must be able to work in a team environment and have a strong work ethic
Physically demanding & considered a safety sensitive position (Extreme summer weather conditions)
Able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Seasonal full time with commitment/ability to be on duty up to 14hrs Monday-Friday, weekends included during busy months, willingness to undertake overtime during busy periods (overtime/weekends/stat holidays)

Ability to lift 50lbs or more, work in extreme weather conditions, confined space/heights
