McClelland Debusschere CPA is local Saskatoon firm that is experiencing exceptionally high growth and we are looking to add quality staff to help achieve our goals. You will be working in a leadership role to lead assurance engagements and notice to reader files with direct partner oversight. You will have ample opportunity to progress in this role through to partnership and to help shape our growing firm. We are looking for people with the necessary skill set that will fit with our culture.
Our client base includes not-for-profit organizations and First Nation bands and their economic development entities for assurance services as well as tax services to owner managed businesses of all sizes.
The ideal candidate will have public practice experience in providing assurance services (audit / review) and in personal and corporate taxation. We utilize CaseWare, Cantax and Excel and other professional tools to deliver our services. You will be responsible for planning and executing engagement plans while supervising staff and working closely with the Partners of the firm.
    Candidates must hold a CPA designation with assurance engagements as your primary focus.
    Experience in meeting with clients and present financial statements to Board of Directors and Chief & Councils.
    Ability to work in high pressure, tight deadline situations while maintaining a high degree of professionalism at all times is required.
    Knowledge of and experience working with all GAAP required.
    Tax knowledge considered an asset.
