Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology this position provides leadership to the Business Solutions Team and is responsible to define the long-term needs of information systems and establish and implement related strategies. This requires a focus on strategic alignment, integration with the architecture roadmap, customer and stakeholder co-design methods, and a disciplined, agile approach to product development and management.
  
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Business Solutions team, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to ensure effective co-design of products, as well as influence how new or emerging products can enable business value.
- Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the product and application life cycle management that are in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.
- Provide support and facilitate innovative and experimental product and application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames.
- Ensure that product and application processes for all service providers are conducted in line with corporate policy and industry standards.
- Establish, implement and manage product road maps, status reporting, metrics and benchmarks.
- Oversee suitability assessments of technical and business applications and product portfolios and their associated costs and risks.

What You'll Need:
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study with 8 to 10 years recent experience in a variety of progressively responsible leadership roles.
