Meridian is looking to add a full-time, temporary Executive Assistant to our Team. The term position will begin in early June 2019 and extend until late July 2020.
Legal
o Draft, review, and edit legal templates to suit specific deals, sales or projects while tracking changes for approval
o Coordinate with commercial realtors and potential tenants to create offer to lease and fill in specifics of lease agreements accordingly
o Ensure legal documentation for all Meridian companies (minute book binders) is stored appropriately
o Conduct land title searches and coordinate land sales and title transfers
Projects
o Print drawings
o Set up meetings with owners and take meeting minutes
o Relay drawing review feedback to consultants and ensure consultants make requested drawing changes
o Review and edit the construction plan based on information provided
o Arrange for site signs
o Arrange flights for site employees on out-of-province projects
o Coordinate, edit and send monthly updates to project owners on behalf of the Projects Team and President
o Assist Projects Team with miscellaneous time-sensitive items

o Set up meetings
o Check Presidents outbox several times per day and distribute material accordingly
o Proofread and edit correspondence
o Make lunch reservations
Human Resources
o Send employment assessments as required and ensure documentation is saved on the server
o Ensure all orientation tasks are assigned and completed when a new employee starts
o Coordinate performance reviews
