Description

Do you have extensive experience in the mechanic trades? Are you a conscientious worker dedicated to the safety of yourself and your team? Do you pay close attention to detail when troubleshooting equipment? If so, we have an opportunity for you!

Our clients in the Saskatoon area are actively looking for Trailer Mechanics and Heavy Duty Mechanics! You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul and repair of various truck and trailer equipment. You will be required to requisition parts, materials and equipment while maintaining detailed work orders. By complying with the company health and safety program, you will ensure that the work area for yourself and your team remains safe and operational. The successful applicant for the Mechanic roles available in Saskatoon will have an active apprenticeship or a Journeyman certificate, as well as previous experience in similar roles. You will be responsible for communicating any defects or concerns with your direct supervisor. Other responsibilities such as participation in training events will be assigned as deemed necessary by your supervisor. Discover the advantages and merit of working as a Mechanic in Saskatoon!

The applicant must have:
    A Journeyman certification or active apprenticeship in Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic
    Previous experience working with trucks, trailers, and on-road equipment
    1A Training is considered an asset
    Ability to work by themselves and with a team
    Ability to work safely
