The Saskatchewan First Nations Family and Community Institute Inc. Reporting to the Director of Administration, the Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, and payroll services in order to meet legislative requirements and support SFNFCI operations.  The Finance Officer is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing payroll, purchasing and procurement, maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable and managing the finance office. The Finance Officer must follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and ensure financial policies and procedures are in compliance with all Federal and Provincial Acts and Legislation.
This position will assist in building the capacity of the finance and administration department and provide exemplary stewardship by recommending changes to, monitoring and improvement of financial policies and standard operating procedures.
