David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for an Accounting Clerk, based in Saskatoon.
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for the performance of a variety of duties from backroom calculations to front desk customer service. Responsibilities will include processing accounts payable and receipts, following up on collections and overdue accounts and communicating with the Property Managers, Maintenance Division and Accounting team. Other responsibilities will include daily and month-end processing, generating monthly reconciliations and reports, tracking information, filing and other general administrative/clerical task such as; word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing, scanning and photocopying.
The Role:
Accounting
Accounts payable posting
Accounts receivable posting
Reconcile vendor statements and follow up as required
Assist in preparation of month-end reports, including reconciliations, entries, etc.
Data entry
Administrative assistance
Other duties as assigned
Collections
Review receivables listing and work with the accountant to follow up on receivables collection
Communicate with managers regarding collection activity
