As the Temporary Shop Assistant, you will:

Assist with building, yard and infrastructure maintenance
Support the shipping and receiving of goods and transfer of equipment
Operate machinery used to cut grass and conduct weed control
Assist the delivery driver with piloting of loads and delivery/pick-up of customer equipment
Other duties to be assigned by the Service Manager & Store Manager

The ideal candidate will have:

Completion of a Grade 12 education is considered a strong asset
An outgoing friendly team player with a strong work ethic
Experience operating material handling equipment (Forklift training can be provided on site)
Demonstrated skill with the safe operation of large Agricultural Equipment
Competency with operating towing equipment and trailers considered a strong asset
Clean drivers abstract
All resumes must be accompanied by a supporting cover letter
This temporary position begins May 6th, 2019 and finishes at the end of harvest. The hours are full-time Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
