Summer Student JobThe Moose Jaw Housing Authority requires a temporary Seasonal Janitorial & Grounds Worker. Job starts as soon as possible and expires on 30-August 2019.
Duties include assisting in the upkeep of all grounds and buildings managed by the Moose Jaw Housing Authority.
Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OR 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Position Requisites:
-High School or post secondary student or graduate
-General knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, safe equipment operation and janitorial duties.
-knowledge and/or experience in working with seniors and/or typical tenants;
-work effectively in a team-based environment;
-be able to walk from the 1st to the 16th floor in any M.J.H.A. building;
-be able to lift 35.0 kg several times daily;
-be able to walk a minimum of 5 km daily;
* the above physical requirement will be tested on a periodic basis.
-valid drivers license
