Description

Duties:
Customers
    Will work as Customer Service Representative.
    Provide excellent customer service to maintain existing customers and attract new business.
    Understand agriculture and commercial industry.
Staffing
    Manage a cohesive, skilled and motivated work force
    Work with staff in a professional and respectful manner.
    Ensure that staff is following policies and procedures of Value tire.
    Responsible for supervising, coaching and training employees and taking corrective action as required.
    Participates in hiring and conduction of formal performance appraisals
    Models and shares the vision of the Value Tire Group and acts as an employer of choice.
Inventory
    Ensures inventory is ordered, received and receipted into computer system in an accurate and timely manner.
    Ensures inventory is accurate at all times.
    Is aware of new tires and tire sizes in the market and helps determine if tire should be stocked.
    Ensures that all supplier invoices (except stocking invoices) have rebill numbers.
Financial
    Review payroll time cards for accuracy and submit to head office in a timely manner.
    Ensure cash outs and bank deposits are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Accountabilities
    Ensures shop procedures are carried out at all times.
Qualifications/Skills
    Understanding of agriculture and commercial trucking industry.
    Knowledge of automotive service industry and services writing (capable of running a front counter).
    Knowledge of passenger, light truck, commercial, utility and farm tires
    Positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.
    Previous experience in an automotive retail environment.
    Good oral communication skills.
    Ability to delegate work and motivate staff.
    Ability to manage staff and a facility.
    Organized and detail oriented.
    High level of leadership and planning
