Movado Sports Bar is currently interviewing for
servers. Must be able to work
independently. This is a part time
position with the successful applicants being
available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekend day shifts to help serve breakfast.
Required to have completed Serve it Right Saskatchewan course.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
- Numeracy
- Oral communication
- Working with others
- Significant use of memory
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Set tables
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Balance cash and record sales
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
