Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to direct and control the operations of the Engineering activities, and plan, schedule and coordinate the production of our custom cabinetry. Responsibilities include engineering and preparing production information, production planning and scheduling to ensure continuous flow of work, adequate materials and labour resources on a day to day basis. Forecasting and planning of upcoming projects.  Assist with daily production management items. Updating of existing policies and procedures as required.  

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with personal computers in a Windows environment and be an advanced user of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook and some form of scheduling software. Knowledge of Cabinet Vision design and Tradesoft management softwares an asset.

Candidate qualifications include exceptional organizational skills, strategic planning and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  All serious applicants must have high energy and be a results-orientated leader and a team player.  Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Ensures the engineering team and other departments work together cohesively.  Responsible for accurate production data and information flow. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

    Create and lead a continuous improvement culture.
Qualifications,Skills & Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing Quality and Product and Process Development.
Advanced ability in problem solving/analysis.
Advanced ability to develop and design manufacturing Methods and Procedures.
Solid PC skills using Microsoft Office software such as Access, Excel, Word
Good written communication and effective organizational skills.
