Provincial Airways is an aerial application and aircraft maintenance business located at the Moose Jaw Municipal Airport.
We are currently seeking an individual to start June 3 with part time hours for two weeks, and work full time until approximately October 15th, 2018. Plan for some training days in late May.
Duties Include:
-Fueling Aircraft
-Loading Aircraft (Chemical in spray planes)
-Washing Aircraft
-Providing support to pilot(s)
-Dealing with customers
-Miscellaneous hangar upkeep
-Keeping a tidy loading area
-Minor aircraft maintenance
-Pulling a trailer
Requirements:
-Physically fit
-Ability to work long hours
-Great customer service skills
-Class 5 Drivers License with a good drivers abstract is a must
-Must be able to tow a trailer
-Class 3 or 1A a definite asset although not required
-Forklift/Tractor experience an asset
-Quick Learner
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Must have own vehicle or own transportation to work
-General knowledge of farming practices an asset
-Some experience or knowledge of aircraft would be an asset
ONLY CANADIAN RESIDENTS MAY APPLY. As this is a short duration job we are only looking to hire locally from the local area. This is a physical job requiring long hours and intensive labor. This job would be great for a summer student but is not limited to such. This is also an ideal job for anyone looking for a career in aerial application (pilot or aircraft maintenance).
