Description

Quality Molded Plastics Ltd. (QMP), an established leader in the rotational molding industry, is seeking a permanent full-time Production Operator starting immediately.
In general, the production operator duties consist of installing and filling molds, blending resin, demolding plastic products, as well as trimming product.  For those not familiar with rotational molding processes, the work can be compared to manufacturing type duties.

QMP offers a competitive wage program as well as a comprehensive benefit plan, pension plan and safety shoe allowance.  QMP provides required PPE except for footwear and offers a positive and stable work environment.
Work schedule is a 4 day work week (Mon  Thurs).  Overtime may be required.

QMP is conveniently located on the northwest side of Saskatoon on the corner of Capital Circle West & Auction Mart Road.  This is outside of the city transit routes and personal transportation is required.

QMP is currently looking for a safety conscious, energetic and motivated individual for a full-time Production Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Working in a team environment in a safe and efficient manner
- Mechanical assembly of a variety of components to required prints
- Following company quality procedures for various hand and automated equipment
- An enthusiasm for working
- Ability to handle heavy loads and accurately use basic shop tools
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Proven time management skills and attention to detail
- Experience operating a fork lift is an asset
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Reliable transportation is required.
