JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform basic automotive maintenance work and small repairs.
- Perform oil and filter changes, check tire pressure and replenish vehicle fluids, lubricating joints and fittings as needed.
- Repair and replace tires.
- Communicate regularly with Service and Parts Advisors to confirm repair order and diagnostic information.
- Complete other duties assigned by the Service Manager.
- Clean up shop regularly.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest diagnostic methods and service techniques for vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and comprehend information and instructions.
- Must hold and maintain a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to operate power and hand tools.
- Be honest and use good judgment.
- Be able to maintain a clean appearance, and keep work environment tidy.
- Be willing to continuously learn to update knowledge and skills.
- Have some knowledge of automotive repair, training will be provided.
