Summer Student JobWe are currently accepting applications for one Head Lifeguard. This is a seasonal full time position with some evening and weekend availability required. Wage is based on qualifications. Additional benefits include the reimbursement of 50% of costs of the required training course and books over 2 years of employment as well we offer a campsite at no charge in a designated area of the park. Required qualifications include NLS Lifeguard Certificate, Swim for Life & Lifesaving Instructor Certificate, and Standard First Aid/CPR-C.
We are seeking applicants who are responsible, self-motivated and highly organized; enjoy being outdoors, ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, and interacting with the public. Main duties of this position include managing the pool staff including training, and supervision, instructing lessons, lifeguarding duties ensuring patron safety, enforcing all pool policies, be compliant with the Pool Safety Plan, maintenance and cleaning of the pool including chemical tests, collecting swimming fees and handling patron concerns, and oversee swimming lesson registrations.
