Specialist, Enterprise Architecture (Data Architect)

SaskPower is seeking a Data Architect to contribute, mature, and maintain SaskPowers Data and Analytics strategy and foundational activities such as master data management, data governance and general data management practices. This position will play a critical role in the design, implementation and maturity of a Master Data Management solution and practice at SaskPower.

The Data Architect will work closely with project teams to determine deliverables, time estimates, activity reporting, and ensure conformance with architectural standards.

This position will manage various data management technologies and provide training to various teams. The Data Architect will develop and maintain SaskPowers data literacy program and provide continuous learning and support to the business.

The Data Architect will resolve and respond to Data Governance issues and support Data Governance policies and procedures ensuring that best data architecture and management practices and methodologies are followed.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, Engineering or other related equivalent AND/OR;
Related professional designation(s) and/or certification(s) AND/OR;
Five (5) years of related experience in data technologies and emerging data practices
