Description

Are you a Journeyperson plumber?  Are you self-motivated?  Do you have any experience working with natural gas?  If you answered yes, we would like to hear from you!

As a Service Technician I, you will be trained to perform a variety of duties associated with the installation, operation and maintenance, and trouble-shooting of gas system facilities and associated equipment.  

This position also has a large customer service component.  As a Service Technician I, you are responsible for handling customer inquiries, complaints, trouble calls and providing or recommending corrective measures.  Also, as a potential first responder in emergency situations, you will be required to implement sound decisions in a sometimes stressful environment.  

Qualified applicants will possess:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Journeyperson Plumber
Gas fitter license (general or domestic)
Valid Class 5 driver's license

Additional Information:
This job requires significant travel time including overnight stays away from bid headquarters and extended work hours
This job is routinely scheduled for standby and may be called out in certain situations
The incumbent is required to be physically fit
This job is safety sensitive, and as such is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions
