Facility: PIONEER HOUSING ASSOCIATION
Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Care (DOC) and in accordance with Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System (Lean) and congruent with the mission, vision and values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the Manager is responsible for planning, implementation and coordination of care and assisting the DOC to lead and enable a culture of safety and improvement. The Manager is responsible under the Lean Methodology approach to work directly with the care team to provide efficient and effective operational and clinical leadership in the 74 bed LTC/ALC (Long term care/alternate
level of care) facility.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Masters Degree in Nursing; preferred
Experience
5 years experience in the field/3 years management experience (preferred)
Other Information

Lean Leader certification is an asset.

Within the patient first care model, the Resident Care Manager is responsible to ensure all the care needs: medical, physical, psycho-social and emotional of the LTC/ALC clients are safely delivered. Under the direction of the DOC, the Manager works to improve practices and outcomes that result in a safe and quality care environment to provide greater value for clients/families.
Expected Start Date: April 23, 2019
Expected Up To Date: September 15, 2019
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
37.50 hours per 1 week rotation
