Responsible for crisis intervention in a full range of human and social problems
Responsible for conducting Community/Group presentations to La Ronge Area and Northern Communities On-Reserve
Answers directly to the Program Manager
Shall maintain confidentiality regarding staff, residents, Board and business matters
Maintain professional and ethical boundaries
Working in conjunction with the Executive Director, Program Manager and the Outreach Worker(s) {herein referred to as the Program Development Team} initiate, develop and implement program materials that respond to the unique needs of northern Aboriginal women, with the Council and/or appropriate committees.
Facilitate Community Programs: Little Kukoms Club
Working with On-Reserve agencies to address family violence through presentations
Represent the organization in a positive manner
Participate in community awareness events
Direct Client Support Services: Information and Referral Services
Providing support and non-judgmental listening in the areas of problem solving, decision making and mediation by telephone and in person to residents, for residents and potential clients
Follow-up and Support services: Piwapan Womens Centre (past/present clients) and community members facing family violence.
Suicide Intervention Services
Maintain record, reports and forms, maintain statistical information on outreach and crisis call clients
Good interpersonal skills with clients and other service agencies: Good communication skills
Must be able to cope with stress

Must be able to pass a criminal record check and child abuse record check
Must be able to do written and statistics reports
Must be willing to carry a cell phone
Must be able to do public presentations
-Completed post-secondary education, preferably in the field of Social Work or Human Justice
-At least 2 or more years experience in the field of human services
