We are currently seeking experienced installers and fabricators of marble, granite and quartz for countertops to add to our team including a Install/Shop manager
To be qualified you must have excellence in:
Cutting stone
Polishing stone
Installing stone countertops
Seam setting
Top polishing
Repairs and refurbishment of granite, quartz, marble and all other building and structural stones.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Managing day-to-day operations of the shop
Coordination of the install crews and the fabrication department and reporting of fabrication issues (i.e. template/drawing issues, packaging, completion of work, safety, etc) to maintain the Installation/Delivery schedule
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven leadership and team building skills
2+ years of experience of shop supervision in countertop fabrication using quartz and other natural stone/materials (i.e. Granite, Marble)
Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience managing a team of 5-10 staff
Excellent oral/written communication and strong organizational skills
1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints/sketches/specifications/work orders
1-2 years of experience measuring, calculating, cutting, and operating specialized saws and other power tools used for quartz and natural stone products

Stone Forming and Finishing Worker Specific Skills
- Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
- Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
