Description

SGO Mining Inc. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources. Seabee Gold Operation is located 125 kilometers northeast of LaRonge, SK. Our developing Santoy project is located approximately 14 kilometers east of the Seabee Mill andis a 1000 tpd operation.

This position is a fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge. The work schedule will be 2 weeks on site,2 weeks off site; 11-hour workdays.

We are seeking an IT Technician who enjoys being on the go and has a strong desire to grow their experience.You will be working outside for extended periods (approx. 60% of role) in potentially adverse conditions.

You are responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks.

The IT Technician provides hardware and software maintenance, training, consultation, and recommendations about future planning / development of resources.

Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources.

The successful Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of providing technical support of workstations, laptops, telephony and server environments (A+ certifications are preferred). Experience working with cable management would be an asset.

Additionally:
Willingness to learn and openness to new ideas.
Previous low voltage cabling experience is an asset.
Previous experience in radios, cell phones frequency and cable tv is an asset.
Valid Drivers license.
Technical understanding of network communications LAN, WAN and WiFi.
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience of Windows Operating Systems including; installing Windows 10, MS Office 365, Skype, network printers, network drives etc.
