McClure Place Seeking Permanent Nurse
McClure Place has a mandate to enrich the lives of seniors within the community, through the provision of dignified and safe independent living facilities and services. We are looking for a permanent part-time RN/LPN to join our team.
Candidates must be/ have:
Reliable, mature and comfortable working independently
Organized and detail oriented
Professional with excellent communication skills
Tech savvy
Graduated from an accredited nursing program
Current registration with the provincial licensing body in good standing
Current CPR Certificate
Previous community or seniors health service experience
Extensive knowledge of health system navigation
Positive interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Decision making skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide client care by utilizing the skills of observation, assessment, documentation, nursing diagnosis, counseling and health teaching;
Provide care ensuring that the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent;
Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body.
Observe and document client conditions and changes following proper standards and in accordance with professional standards.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate McClure Place Inc. personnel.
Complete other tasks as requested.
A clear Criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector check is required for employment with McClure Place.
