Description

The Good Spirit Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.  The office provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter in Canora, Melville, Yorkton and surrounding communities.

The Housing Authority is looking for energetic, self-starters for grounds maintenance duties.  If you like staying active, working outdoors and the look and smell of fresh cut grass this job is for you!  

Main responsibilities are general grounds maintenance and grass cutting but you can expect to be called on for additional tasks including cleaning and painting Housing Authority properties.

We are looking for individuals that have an appreciation for safety  personal safety and the safety of those around them  and appreciate and respect individuals differences.  A valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle is required to travel between locations at Canora, Yorkton and Melville.

If you enjoy working alone as well as on a team and are able to build effective relationships with others, have good judgement and superior ability to plan, problem solve, multi-take and prioritize we want to hear from you!

This is a unionized, term position starting May 1st (through to approx. August 31, 2019).
Hours of work are weekdays, between 8:30 a.m.  4:30 p.m.
Rate of pay is $13.47 hour
