Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of plot equipment, trucks, and trailers as well as farm buildings and yard maintenance.  The candidate will also be involved in some field work (planting, spraying, harvest) of a 160 ac research farm. He/She must be able to prioritize repairs based on field activities with input from the shop foreman, Station Manager and Research Associates. The candidate will report to the shop foreman and collaborate with all other staff as needed.  Farm and/ or mechanical aptitude is an asset.  Must have valid clean class 5 driver's licence and own vehicle to get to and from work site 5 km outside of Saskatoon.  Please submit resume along WITH REFERENCES.
