Summer Student Jobhe Seasonal Student Direct Support to promote well-being and enhanced quality of life - Assist with personal hygiene, lifting, dressing, meals, accurate medication administration, health treatments, social and leisure activities and transportation as needed- Empower individual choice and promote access to the natural/community supports available- Provide support in a manner that recognizes and supports the spiritual needs of each person according to their choices.- Foster independence in people supported by delegating responsibilities and monitoring until successful completion.- Provide crisis/emergency supports- Work within protocols and training to respond to behavioural needs/incidents - Implement designed programs for people supported.
Requirements: Applicants should be college or university students enrolled in a programs such as psychology, nursing, social work child care etc or in a relevant field of study, registered as a full-time student during the past academic year and returning to full-time studies during the next academic year.
