Brandt Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility is seeking an individual to fill the position of Trailer Technician.  This position will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly and inspection on heavy haul trailers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Certification to conduct SGI CVIP inspections
Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
Complete written and oral work orders
Repair and install trailer mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
Instruct apprentices
Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
Conduct wheel alignments, and operation of light check units
Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic ABS systems including computer diagnostics
Other mechanical repair work and duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
CVIP certification
Completion of College/vocational technical training
4 + years as a heavy duty mechanic specifically air systems including schematics and diagnostics
Possess a valid drivers license
Familiarity with hydraulic systems an asset
Ability to communication both verbally and written
Strong attention to detail
