Description

Community Liaison Worker administers day to day operations of the Youth Sports, Culture and Recreation department. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide technical support by designing structures, systems or processes that promote and aid the formulation, coordination, integration and implementation of the program or specific project policy. Translate policies into laws, regulations, strategies, programs or services. It is the bridge between the legislative/executive arms of the organization and external agencies and internal agency staff. Community Liaison Worker ensure efficient and effective use of human resources and financial resources, and to ensure the department provided quality services to the member. Coordinate relationships/negotiations between administration, Saskatchewan Sports and Culture and Recreation Governing Bodies, Agencies and individuals. Responsible for preparation and monitoring of budget proposals, yearly expenditure plans, strategic plans, reports to funding agencies, etc. Overall supervisory responsibility for community development.
