Recruitment:
Preparing and managing full life cycle recruitment for all positions
Prepare and post job ads
Review and sort all incoming resumes
Schedule and coordinate interviews
Assist and conduct with preliminary telephone interviews
Assist with writing and preparing interview questions
Create for approval Offer of Employment letters
Conduct orientation and on-boarding of new hires
Book and track Drug and Alcohol testing
Performance Management Training & Development:
Prepare performance documents
Track performance meetings
Assist in training and support performance meetings
Prepare, track and monitor the Apprenticeship program
Maintain, track and monitor all training records
Prepare and maintain Human Resource related documents
Benefits & Disability Management:
Provide benefits information as needed to employees
Approve and track benefit claims for payroll
Prepare, track and monitor all employee benefit documentation
Assist with disability and workers compensation claims
Qualifications:
A Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized teaching institution.
At least 3-5 years experience working in an HR environment
Preference will be given to candidates with strong working background in the areas of: Full cycle recruitment
Experience working in an HR role in an Electrical, Technical or Engineering office environment would be an asset.
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Must possess strong leadership, communication, and team building skills
Strong aptitude for organizing, tracking, and monitoring work processes and documentation
You possess strong organizational skills, computer skills and have the ability to plan and execute work efficiently and possibly under tight time constraints
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
