Quickthree Technology LLC, (div of Smart Sand, Inc.), has an immediate opening for:
Planning Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):
Contribute to the planning, creation, and maintaining work instructions for Engineering, Purchasing, Weld/Production, Paint Process/Vendors, Assembly, and Shipping.
Coordinate the flow of information between departments in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to ensure that customer expectations, plant production assets, and personnel are properly matched.
Assist the Planning & Logistics Manager in managing and maintaining the production schedule.
Maintain the accuracy of the Production schedule to ensure On-Time delivery of products.
Provide logistics support for domestic and cross-border shipments.
Assist in the development of process documentation across Operations. Monitor production process and implement process improvements.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Planning experience required.  
Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office suite of products. MS Access, MS Project, and/or MRP/ERP systems an asset.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of manufacturing operations, metal forming and fabrication, welding and machining, electronics, hydraulics, mechanics an asset.
Proven ability to articulate concepts and an effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills and the demonstrated ability to share information and use information to guide decision-making.
Progressive operation experience within manufacturing and environment an asset.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodology will be considered an asset.
