The Lloydminster Interval Home Society is currently seeking a  Family Violence Outreach Worker - as part of our Family Violence Outreach Services.  The Family Violence Outreach Worker is responsible to assist our non-residential, female clients through one-on-one emotional and practical supports. The Family Violence Outreach Program provides women with support, family violence information, advocacy, safety planning and community referrals; empowering women to live independent, abuse-free lives.

This position requires a flexible schedule that includes some evening and weekend hours. Assistance with community education and awareness programming is also part of this dynamic, challenging and important role within the Lloydminster Interval Home Team!

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education in a Human Services program, combined with a strong working knowledge of family violence is required.  This highly motivated and energetic individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.  Applicants must also have a valid drivers license and clean driving record is mandatory, along with a minimum of 3 years driving and insurance history.
