Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients/clients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangment of follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

EXPERIENCE AS A STAFF DIETITIAN IS PREFERRED.  EXPERIENCE IN NUTRITION SUPPORT WILL BE CONSIDERED AN ASSET.

In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
