Job Purpose
Oversees sales support and delivery activities which enable Business Bankers and SME Specialists to expand and maintain sales to members and potential members. Proactively manages the teams delivery of solutions primarily designed for business members, including cash management services, merchant services, lending, and deposits. Supports commercial credit applications and renewals, by reviewing financial statements, performing analysis, and conducting risk assessments and annual reviews. Provides escalation support and expert guidance to the team and outside the unit. Supports the implementation of design/process changes and implements ongoing continuous improvements to streamline sales delivery. Focuses on integration and seamless member experience, working in close collaboration with Contact Centre, Advice Centre Managers, and Operations units.
Working Conditions
In delivering seamless member experience, this job may require travel between locations and work outside of regular hours. Other duties will be assigned outside the stated job purpose and key elements of work established for this job to ensure we are flexible and agile, providing cohesive member experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable to achieve member centric sales outcomes
- Intermediate knowledge of Commercial products and services and related processing practices
- Specialized knowledge of business operations and financing, including an advanced business acumen
- Advanced digital literacy across a broad range of channels and devices (i.e. online services, mobile applications, smartphones, tablets, etc.)
