The Prince Albert Police Service invites applications for a permanent Systems Programmer. Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the provision of effective, accurate and timely support for both applications and computer/application support.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of Internet and Intranet websites and services.
Ensure compatibility and ease of accessibility of systems.
Statistic retrieval, analysis and presentation of internal Records Management System statistics.
Database creation and maintenance.
Design and implement technical solutions for related applications and services.
Participate and contribute to discussions related to innovation and enhancements to existing and future projects.
Day to day installation, deployment, and maintenance of computers, software, servers, security infrastructure and remote sites.
Local retrieval of CCTV surveillance
Participate in an on call rotation consisting of some after hours, weekends and holidays
Excellent communication and team building skills
Required Qualifications:
University Degree with a major in computer science or a Diploma in computer science or related field, supplemented with a minimum of 5 years experience.

existing knowledgebase to support computers, printers, and applications
Criminal Background check and security screening process
Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License and access to a vehicle
