Description

The responsibilities of a truck dispatcher include:

-Assigning routes and maintaining communication with the drivers throughout the day.
-Collaborating with management and clients to modify daily routes.
-Provide communications with the drivers, company and, clients.
-Conducting safety meetings as required.
-Assist with worker evaluations.
-Ensure all equipment has been inspected and in operating condition and arrange servicing if required.
-Develop strong relationships with the drivers and clients.
-Monitor changes in routes/weather to establish punctual operations.
_ensuring shop and office are kept clean and organized.
-Other duties as required.

Previous oilfield dispatching is an asset to this position.
Applicants holding valid oilfield work tickets desired.
Knowledge of Southwest Sask oilfield an asset.

Preference will be given to those currently residing in/around Gull Lake, Sask or Shaunavon, Sask.

 - Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
 - Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
 - Act as liaison between customers and drivers
 - Handle wake-up calls
 - Troubleshoot mechanical problems
 - Follow-up on issues with work orders
 - Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
