Adecco is currently hiring for a Drafting Coordinator in Regina, SK. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 1 year experience in document management, Drafting Coordinator Certificate or Office Administration Certificate.
Drafting Coordinator Responsibilities:
Allocate and control the drawing numbering system
Receive, catalogue and store electronic drawings and related information in an orderly manner, in line with procedures.
Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve drawings
Participate in initiatives that impact drawing handling process, access, naming & software.
Connect SharePoint drawings to spatial assets within the corporate GIS.
Responsible for controlling the network .dwg file repository structure
Responsible for Quality Control related to drawing revisions and file naming standards.
Responsible for maintaining the currency of drawings (copies) within the shared drawings library (SharePoint)
Administer the drawings library (SharePoint) by assigning user permissions, creating views, setting configurations & training users on capabilities.
Responsible for tracking checked out drawings that are being used as part of on-going projects.
Create PDF files from drawings using AutoCad software
Drafting Coordinator Qualifications:
One year experience in document management / record management
Must have at least one years experience using Microsoft SharePoint
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with the following software would be beneficial
MS Office, SharePoint
AutoCAD LT
