Capital Petroleum Service is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Co-ordinator.
This position will involve analyzing drawings/blueprints, specifications, proposals and other related documentation to prepare time, material, outside services, and equipment estimates for our projects.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
* Estimating the installation of petroleum fuel tanks, associated piping, fuel pumps and related equipment pertaining to fueling stations, petroleum plant facilities, Aviation Fuel Services, Carwashes and Generator systems.
* Consult and communicate with clients including architects, engineers, vendors and other individuals to discuss and formulate job estimates and submittals of drawings and equipment specifications for approval.
* Attend site meetings as required.
* Organize and manage the project costs and provide input to management for progress claims.
* Prepare and communicate any change order pricing for jobs in progress.
* Complete operational and maintenance manuals and prepare "As-built" drawings.
* Keep abreast of Provincial & Federal Environmental Acts/Codes, and any Fire Code changes related to our industry.
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Must be organized and detail oriented.
* Ability to review specifications and read architectural drawings and blueprints.
* Strong time management skills to consistently meet all requested proposals within assigned timelines/deadlines.
* Intermediate personal computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Software.
Desirable Assets:
* Experience with AutoCAD or similar mechanical CAD drafting packages.
* Experience in working with estimating software programs.
* Experience in a construction, mechanical, surveying or civil ground works environment.
