Job Vacancy - General Farm Worker at Organic Farm
One Berry Farm is looking for an organic farm worker to assist in planting, cultivating, brewing and spraying compost tea, and harvesting. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and general farm duties.
NEWCOMERS TO CANADA ARE WELCOME TO APPLY
Must have 3-5 years experience as a general farm worker. Previous experience with compost and compost teas will be an asset. Valid driver's license is required, class 5 or higher. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken. Must be able to work without supervision.
WCB coverage is supplied, no other benefits. On farm accommodation can be supplied at a cost of $800/month (utilities included). Transportation will be provided.
Wage is $20.00/hour, there is no overtime rate. Minimum of 30 hours/week, more during peak times.
