We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide leadership in project management. You will maintain and improve SaskCentrals project management methodology, provide project management services, and offer guidance and support to others in their project management efforts. If you have advanced experience in project leadership, including effective stakeholder engagement, this may be the position for you.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Support, you will manage multiple projects concurrently and lead cross functional teams to effectively implement projects aligned to strategy. You will think and work at both strategic and operational levels, knowing when each applies. You will maintain and continuously improve SaskCentrals project management methodology and ensure project management tools and templates support business needs and follow leading practices. You will scope key initiatives that support the planning and budgeting process, including developing the annual budget for SaskCentral initiatives, and supporting the prioritization and selection of initiatives. You will also coach, guide and support other SaskCentral resources that are managing projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a Project Management Professional designation and a university degree in a related field, combined with a minimum of five years of experience leading and managing projects. Working knowledge of MS project would be an asset. You will have strong communication, facilitation, relationship building and problem solving skills. Core competencies for this position include initiative, accountability, creative thinking and innovation, flexibility, teamwork, listening and communication.
