Assist with all childrens programming, as well as:
- Designing and implementing specific childrens programming, as directed by the Programming Clerk
- Creating promotional materials and displays
- Assist in providing tours of the library for children
- Assist at the circulation desk
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent reading skills
- Proficiency with Windows and office suite
- Strong leadership skills
- Good rapport with children
- Interest in drama and public speaking
- Able to work evening and weekend shifts
- Current Vulnerable Sector criminal record check
Preferences: Prior library work experience
Hours: 15 22.5 hrs/week
Start date: May 15, 2019 End Date: August 23, 2019
Wage: $14.64/hour per CUPE Local #3077 Collective Agreement
