Regina Fastprint has an opening for a qualified Graphic Designer/Digital Print Operator to join our team!
The ideal candidate should have excellent written, communication and mathematical skills, customer service oriented, highly organized and is able to work in a fast paced environment. This is a key position responsible for designing and processing artwork for production, job prioritizing, trouble shooting, operating and maintaining print equipment. Multitasking skills are essential, as is ensuring that quality standards and deadlines are met or exceeded.
Skills:

Education:
- Certificate/degree/diploma in graphic design or equivalent experience

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience with variable data and working in a print production environment an asset
- Understanding of printing processes as well as knowledge of digital presses/printers and imposition software
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Word, Publisher, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience with graphic design such as logo and page design
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- Time management and organizational skills
- Attention to quality and detail
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects in a fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines
- Trouble shooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team setting
- Read, understand and follow instructions

Working Conditions:
- Frequent lifting of up to 50lbs
