Description

Grid Environment Ltd. is currently hiring Fugitive Emission Testing Technicians for the Regina, Saskatchewan area. This is a summer position. No housing/per diem will be offered.
Work term begins on April 30, 2019 and ends on August 31, 2019.
Note: Due to the government sponsorship of this position we can only accept applicants from ages 18  30 and must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Duties:
Monitor emissions of components on hydrocarbon service pipes/equipment in refinery.
Properly execute EPA Method 21
Properly calibrates and maintains all monitoring equipment
Use monitoring software on both tablet and computer.
Prepare leak reports using assigned template/format and deliver to responsible person in a timely manner.
Professionally communicate with our clients.
Properly document, audit, and repair instrument calibrations, certifications, or other analyzer related information.
Properly document all pertinent monitoring information.
Accurately complete leak list and deliver to responsible person in a timely manner.
Work with maintenance to repair and monitor leaks.
Assemble, maintain and troubleshoot sampling equipment.
Follow quality assurance guidelines on equipment contamination, sample gathering, documentation and database.
Prepare, attend, and advance in all required training programs.
Mandatory requirements:
Must be Canadian citizenship or permanent resident
Must work be able to work 35 hours a week and at least 11 weeks in total.
Must have an engineering or environmental science degree (Chemical Engineering degree preferred).
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
Must be able to understand technical operating manuals
Must adhere to safety procedures.
Must be physically able to climb towers, vessels, in pipe racks and on ladders
Must meet minimal computer requirements.
